Zendaya has ignited speculation about an engagement after appearing at the Golden Globes with a large diamond ring on her left hand.
Representatives for Zendaya and her longtime partner, Tom Holland, have not responded to requests for comment from reporters.
The 28-year-old Emmy-winning star attended Sunday’s event at the Beverly Hilton, but Holland was notably absent.
People magazine, citing “a family source,” reported that the couple is engaged.
Another source revealed Holland shared the news with friends around New Year’s Eve. TMZ also reported the engagement, attributing the information to “sources close to the couple.”
Zendaya, who gained fame from Euphoria and Challengers, stunned on the red carpet in a Louis Vuitton gown. Her romance with Holland dates back to their roles as love interests in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
During a red carpet interaction, a Los Angeles Times reporter seemingly confirmed speculation when Zendaya held up her engagement ring. The reporter pointed to it, prompting Zendaya to show off her left-hand diamond while smiling coyly and shrugging her shoulders.
Adding to the intrigue, Bulgari—of which Zendaya is an ambassador—provided her carpet jewellery, including a necklace, earrings, and a right-hand ring. However, the press release made no mention of the diamond on her left hand.
The mystery surrounding Zendaya’s ring continues to fuel engagement rumours, with fans eagerly awaiting an official confirmation.
