England manager Gareth Southgate on Thursday named his 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The biggest omission is Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Southgate saying his current form does not warrant a call-up.
Meanwhile, John Stones earned his first call-up since November 2019 thanks to his resurgence at Manchester City, while Luke Shaw is in line to add to his eight caps more than two years after his last international appearance.
Also back in favour is Jesse Lingard who last played for the national team in June 2019.
Seventeen-year-old striker Jude Bellingham could make his competitive debut, although the Borussia Dortmund teenager may be ruled out due to coronavirus travel restrictions.
Ollie Watkins and Sam Johnstone have also been called up to the England squad for the first time.
