Reactions have trailed the endorsement of the incumbent lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu’s re-election bid by various political parties ahead of the gubernatorial election on March 18th.
On Tuesday, a coalition of nine political parties, called the Alliance of Registered Political Parties including the New Nigeria Peoples Party announced their endorsement.
The Accord party which was previously in alliance with the labour party, also announced its endorsement. In another development, Former Rivers State governor and immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday accused Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike of mismanaging state funds on Alcohol, adding that the person Wike buys alcohol from, said Wike spends 50 million naira every week on alcohol.
The former governor made the comment during his campaign for the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole.
