The Director General of Nigeria’s Tourism Development Corporation is calling for a reform of Nigeria’s “archaic” laws in the Tourism sector.
Folorunsho Coker said changing – or updating – certain laws could be used to advance the travel and tourism industry in the country, especially in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“If we don’t do that across the spectrum of legislature, regulation and taxation, to take advantage of our tourism assets now, it will be difficult to grow,” Coker told ARISE News.
