Usyk Defeats Fury By Split Decision To Become Undisputed Heavyweight Champion

Oleksandr Usyk who was undisputed champion at cruiserweight before stepping up to the premier weight class is now undisputed champion at heavyweight.

Two judges scored the fight in Usyk’s favour – 115-113 and 114-113 with the other giving it Fury at 114-113.

However Tyson Fury feels he won the fight and says he is ready for the mandatory rematch in October.

Oleksandr Usyk wants that rematch too.

Usyk told DAZN: “Thank you so much to my team. It’s a big opportunity for my family, for me, for my country. It’s a great time, it’s a great day.

“Yes, of course. I am ready for a rematch.”
