US Secretary Blinken Commissions American Corner In Lekki

The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken has officially commissioned the American Corner in Lekki in Lagos on Wednesday.

The goal of the cutting-edge, technologically advanced American space in Lagos is to encourage young entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity in Nigeria.

The technology also supports the goal of the Biden Administration’s U.S. Strategy for Sub-Saharan Africa, which aims to promote an inclusive digital ecosystem and accelerate digital transformation.

Blinken, who is currently on his second day in Nigeria, was joined by other American government representatives at the space’s inauguration by Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
