Ukraine’s air defence forces successfully destroyed 10 of 14 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to the Ukrainian air force.
The attack, which targeted various regions, also included the launch of two Iskander M ballistic missiles and one Kh-59 guided air missile aimed at the southern Odesa region.
The Ukrainian air force confirmed that the guided air missile was destroyed, but it did not provide details on the fate of the Iskander missiles, or any potential damage caused by the strikes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the intensity of the attacks, stating that Russia had deployed around 30 missiles, over 800 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 300 attack drones against Ukraine in the past week.
The continued missile and drone strikes underscore the ongoing volatility of the conflict.
