Trump-Owned Company Launches Limited Edition Sneakers Featuring Assassination Attempt Imagery

A company has launched a new line of $299 sneakers featuring an image of Donald Trump with streaks of blood on his cheek and pumping his fist in the air after surviving an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. The white high-tops, branded as “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT High-Tops,” are being sold by CIC Ventures LLC, a company owned by Trump, according to his 2023 financial disclosure.

The limited edition sneakers are restricted to just 5,000 pairs and are expected to ship in September or October. Additionally, 10 pairs will be randomly autographed. The company describes the shoes as honoring Trump’s “unwavering determination and bravery,” and considers each pair a collector’s item, urging supporters to display their patriotic pride.

It said, “These limited edition high-tops, featuring Trump’s iconic image with his fist raised, honor his unwavering determination and bravery,” it says. “With only 5,000 pairs available, each one is a true collector’s item. Show your support and patriotic pride with these exclusive sneakers, capturing a defining moment in history.”

This release follows CIC Ventures’ earlier debut of the “Never Surrender High-Tops,” shiny gold sneakers with American flag details, priced at $399. The sales of these Trump-branded shoes reflect the former president’s allies’ efforts to capitalise on his resilience and defiance after the shooting incident at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. After the attack, Trump stood up and pumped his fist toward the crowd, mouthing “fight, fight.”

Trump’s appearance at the Republican National Convention’s opening night further bolstered his image, where he received a hero’s welcome. With a bandage over his right ear, he appeared visibly emotional as musician Lee Greenwood sang “God Bless the USA.” These moments are seen as pivotal by his supporters, who believe they could aid his bid for a return to the White House, challenging Democratic President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

Earlier in the year, Trump made a notable appearance at “Sneaker Con” to introduce the shiny gold high-tops, showcasing his engagement with his branding ventures. Despite CIC Ventures’ claim of being non-political and unaffiliated with any political campaign, Trump campaign officials have actively promoted the company’s products online.
