Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed strong confidence in Ghana’s newly inaugurated President, John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, Tinubu commended Mahama’s leadership qualities and voiced optimism about the transformative impact of his administration on Ghana.
Highlighting Mahama’s extensive experience and dedication to public service, Tinubu stated,
“I have no doubt that your administration will bring about positive change and progress,” earning applause from the audience.
He further emphasised that Ghana is well-positioned for substantial progress under Mahama’s leadership.
Reaffirming the close relationship between Nigeria and Ghana, Tinubu pledged Nigeria’s steadfast support for Mahama’s government. He underscored the importance of regional solidarity, assuring Mahama that Ghana could always rely on Nigeria as a dependable partner in pursuing its development objectives.
Encouraging collaboration, Tinubu urged Mahama to seek assistance whenever necessary.
“Do not hesitate to reach out. Nigeria stands ready to support your efforts in fostering unity, stability, and growth,” he said, highlighting the enduring camaraderie between the two nations.
