President Bola Tinubu has signed the minimum wage bill into law, marking the end of protracted negotiations among government authorities, labour unions, and the private sector.
The bill, which was passed by the National Assembly just days earlier, received Tinubu’s signature at the State House in Abuja on Monday. The new law sets a standard for minimum wage across the country, aiming to improve living standards and address wage disparities.
