Tinubu Receives West African Leaders in Abuja

President Tinubu has warmly welcomed President Patrice Talon of Benin, President Mohamed Bazoum of Niger, and President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea Busua as they arrive at Aso rock to pay him a visit.

The President received them at the forecourt of the presidential villa in Aso rock.

While the specific agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed, it comes in the wake of President Tinubu assuming the role of Chair of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the regional bloc encompassing these nations.

It is expected that security and economic development in the subregion will be discussed.
