President Bola Tinubu has decorated the Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, with his new rank of four-star General.
The President is also to decorate the three service chiefs with their new ranks of three-star General.
The service chiefs are Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla,
and Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Hassan Abubakar.
President Tinubu will thereafter swear in the CDS and the service chiefs sequel to the confirmation of their appointment by the National Assembly last week.
The President had appointed the new set of of military security chiefs on June 19, 2023, ending the time of those appointed by his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
