Outgoing US President Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany has announced her engagement to Michael Boulos, a Lebanese and French entrepreneur with huge ties to Nigeria.
A picture posted to Instagram shows Trump, 27, and her fiancé standing in one of the White House’s colonnades, with the caption explaining that the couple got engaged at the executive mansion.
“It has been an honour to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!” Trump wrote.
Boulos, 23, is a London-based businessman who grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, attending the American International School of Lagos.
His family founded Boulos Enterprises, a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate that does work with vehicles, equipment, retail, and construction and is based in Nigeria. His father, Massad, is the Chief Executive Officer of the company, SCOA Nigeria while Michael’s mother, Sarah, is the founder of the Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria.
Boulous is currently the associate director of SCOA Nigeria, a position he has held since 2016. He is the director of Fadoul Group, and the business development manager of Royalton Investment.
