America’s electric vehicle company Tesla has reduced the price of its Model S sedan to $69,420. Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said in a tweet on Wednesday that the “the gauntlet has been thrown down! The prophecy will be fulfilled. Model S price changes to 69,420 tonight”.
Recently, the electric car maker said it was able to deliver 139,300 during the third quarter of this year, beating its previous record for deliveries, of 112,000 cars. Tesla is set to report its earnings after the close of trading on October 21 .
