Nigeria’s Supreme Court has returned Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party as the elected governor of Kano State after setting aside the Appeal Court decision sacking him.
In the judgment read by Justice John Okoro, the Apex Court says that all the ballot papers issued by INEC and used in the election are restored including the contested 165,616 ballots.
The Apex Court also holds no other political party has the right to question the membership of another.
