The striker, currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen, shared a video of the wrecked vehicle on his Instagram Stories on Sunday.
The accident occurred shortly after Boniface, who has been in outstanding form since joining the German club in the summer of 2023, scored the decisive goal in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at the BayArena on Saturday.
The video showed Boniface’s hand dripping with blood following the crash. The black car sustained heavy damage, particularly on the right side.
“God is the greatest,” Boniface captioned the video.
