98 year-old widow finds home demolished by family members as they refute her right to own anything left behind by late husband. The news travels from the South-eastern region as Ms. Veronica Nwafor’s home was broken down to building blocks by her stepsons and accomplices, and she was rendered homeless overnight.

A photo goes viral on Twitter showing the Bayelsa State Waterboard building with a wheelbarrow full of water kegs parked in front of it. Nigerian social media found it comedic as the photo suggests that the state waterboard was being supplied with water themselves, in water kegs.

Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohommed insists that the presidency be zoned to the North-east of Nigeria. Mohammed believes, for the sake of equity and justice, that zoning the presidency to the North is mostly applicable to the People’s Democratic Party because the last president in power from the party, was in fact, Goodluck Jonathan from the South. Bauchi Governor also confirms that he belongs to the PDP and claims the APC, its opposition party, is the one that has zoning controversies.
