The St. Patrick’s College Old Boys Association (SPCOBA) has extended heartfelt congratulations to their distinguished member, Obi (Prof.) Epiphany Chibogu Azinge, SAN, on his recent election as the 14th Asagba (Elect) of ancient town of Asaba.
In a statement issued by the National President of SPCOBA, Barr. Anthony Odiadi, the association expressed pride and joy at his ascension to the esteemed traditional leadership role.
Odiadi highlighted the rigorous process that led to Azinge’s election, emphasising that the Kingmakers of Asaba found him eminently qualified to lead the town in the modern era.
“This has been a hard fought, well determined process and the King makers found the Noble Patrician eminently qualified to ascend the throne of leadership of the town in this modern era.”
“Noble Patricians worldwide rejoice with Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge and trust that he will without doubt carry forth to the throne the nobility, wisdom and drive for success which are the hallmark of the high values imbued in us by our great Alma mater- St Patrick’s College, Asaba, the Varsity on the Niger.”
The SPCOBA members, alongside other well-wishers, offered their prayers for divine guidance and protection throughout his reign.
“May the good Lord guide and protect you and lead you alright in His ways throughout your reign. Amen,” the statement concluded.
