Nigerian writer and poet Professor Wole Soyinka says his ‘fight’ with the United States is over after Joe Biden was inaugurated as president.
The Nobel Laureate who famously destroyed his Green Card after Donald Trump’s victory in 2016, wore a ‘G Zero Select Club’ uniform in an interview with ARISE News, an outfit he said symbolised a change in his relationship with the country.
“Now I feel honoured to be associated with the democratic forces of the United States for correcting the unbelievable error that they committed four years ago,” he said.
