Shittu: I’m Confident North West Governors Will Support Tinubu

Nigeria’s former minister of Communications, Abdhur – Raheem Adebayo Shittu, during his appearance on the Morning Show spoke on the internal wrangling within the All Progressives Congress, declaring that in spite of contradicting opinions, he is certain the North West governors of the APC will still be in support of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The party’s vice – presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, hails from the North East. This has sparked reactions, owing to a pre – supposition that the vice – presidential candidate would come from the  North,West governors.
As a result, many believe Tinubu has lost the backing of the North West governors.
However, Mr. Shittu maintains that despite the reports, he is certain that the North West governors are still on Asiwaju’s side.
He concludes that it is the support of these governors that assisted Tinubu in the primaries. He believes their support will only wax stronger.
