Several Billionaires Billed to Attend Nigeria First Lady Aisha Buhari’s Book Launch

In an event certain to capture the imagination of keen observers across the country, Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari will next week unveil a new book, in collaboration with independent charity, Women and National Development (WAND).

The presentation of ‘Aisha Buhari: Being Different’ at the State House in Abuja marks a return to public engagements for the first lady since returning to the country following a six-month stay in Dubai.

Several prominent Nigerians will show support including the national leader of the governing APC, Bola Tinubu, who is slated as chairman of the event, and billionaire businesswoman, Chief Mrs Folorunso Alakija, who is the Special Guest of Honour.

Well-known tycoons including Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, Jim Ovia and Muhammadu Indimi are all billed to attend the event on Thursday, April 8.
Others on the star-studded list are Abdulsamad Rabiu, Prince Arthur Eze, Hajiya Bola Shagaya, Chief Kessington Adebutu, Idahosa Wells Okunbo and  Daisy Danjuma.
Traditional rulers at the occasion include the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar; the Ooni of Ife, HRH. Obama Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and King Dr. Appolus Chu, traditional ruler of the Cha Royal Palace in Eleme, Rivers State.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad M. Bello and Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen will serve as hosts.
