On Wednesday, several senators appeared to have backed out of their threat to override President Muhammadu Buhari’s veto of the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill.
According to a news report in The Nation, the senators were said to have had a rethink following intense lobbying by six APC governors led by Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State on Tuesday night.
