In a surveillance video from 2016 exclusively obtained by CNN, Sean “Diddy” Combs is seen physically abusing then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura during an altercation, aligning with allegations in a previously settled federal lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.
The footage, gathered from various camera angles from March 5, 2016, seemingly depicts the rapper, producer, and business mogul during an incident that, according to Ventura’s complaint, took place at the now-defunct InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. The location was cross referenced by CNN.
In the video, He was seen running down the corridor with a white towel around his waist. He then grabs her by the neck and slams her across the floor, he proceeds to kick her, collect her bag and all her stuffs from the floor, kicks her once more and attempts to drag her away by her sweatshirt into a room.
He walks away and Ventura is seen picking up the telephone while Combs walked back to the hotel room to drop her luggage then he returned and shoves her into a corner. Few seconds later, he sits and throws an object at her.
Douglas H. Wigdor, Ventura’s attorney stated “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
This video which had never been seen by the public comes with several civil laws and raises back the allegations against Combs for sexual trafficking and sexual abuse.
Combs had formerly denied all allegations including Ventura’s.
