It is estimated that there are about 60 African Forest Elephants in the Omo Forest in Ogun State.

While efforts to protect the elephants are ongoing, far more support is needed especially from the government, to stop this majestic species from becoming locally extinct, while protecting human lives and livelihoods. She sends in this report.
