Saudi Summit: Tinubu Led the Charge, Now Investors Should Take Action, Says Obaigbena

Chairman THISDAY-ARISE Media Group Prince Nduka Obaigbena, has charged the investors from the Nigeria-Saudi Round Table to make good on their investment promises that were made to Nigeria during a summit held in Riyadh.

Obaigbena, who attended the summit alongside other prominent Nigerians including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, also said that the people of Saudi Arabia were welcoming, and that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led the Nigerian delegation well.

Obaigbena said, “It is a rousing welcome for Nigeria. It was a great trip. The President led the charge, calling for investments for Nigeria as the Chief Marketing Officer for Nigeria, and the people of Saudi gave a resounding welcome. Now, the detail is in the action.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended the Saudi Africa Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he deliberated with captains of industry and made it clear that Nigeria is open for business.

Tinubu travelled with some ministers including the minister of foreign affairs Yusuf Tuggar, minister of finance Wale Edun and minister of Trade and investment Doris Anete.

Tinubu embarked on the Islamic rite at the end of his Saudi-African Summit on Sunday and also offered prayers for the prosperity of Nigeria.
