Sanwo Olu Says No Manifest to Account for Ikoyi Collapse – Trending With Ojy Okpe

As rescue efforts continue at the collapsed 21-storey building in Ikoyi, family members of Victims, trapped in the building, have expressed anxiety over the fate of their loved ones, Wale Bob-Oseni, a real estate dealer was on his way to the United States on Monday, when he got a call from Femi Osibona the owner of the ill fated building , to meet up with him at the building site, before it collapsed.

26 year old Onyinye Enekwe a graduate of the Nnamdi Azikwe University, is another victim still buried under the rubble. Onyinye worked as a personal assistant to Femi Osibona, and had only started working there for a week, before the tragedy occurred, Her wedding was scheduled to take place next month, family members are using the hashtag #OnyiyewillSurvive and #FindOnyiye on social media to raise awareness in the hope that she would be found alive

Nurudeen Solagbade, a construction worker from Osun state is one of the survivors of the building collapse in Lagos. He and some of his colleagues were on duty when the building collapsed on Monday afternoon. He narrates his experience to Arise correspondent Tokunbo Oyetunji. Tokunbo visited the hospital where some of the survivors are receiving medical care.

Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu while visiting the Building site revealed that there is no manifest to ascertain the number of people that were at the site.
