The Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adango, has resigned from office.
Adango, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria disclosed this in a resignation letter on Thursday addressed to the office of the governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
He stated that his resignation is based “purely on personal principles”.
He said “I hereby give your excellency notice of my resignation as the honorable Attorney-General and commissioner for justice, Rivers State with effect from the date of this letter. For the avoidance of doubt, my resignation from the said office is based purely on personal principles.”
He further commended governor Fubara for the privilege to serve in his administration wishing him a successful tenure in office.
