Top Nigerian actor Richard Mofe Damijo says Nigerian performers are constantly shortchanged through acts of piracy that ensures they don’t get what’s due them.
He stated this on Wednesday when he featured on an ARISE News programme, The ARISE Interview, and noted that the ikpressive global reach of Nollywood movies does not translate to the expected income.
Mr Damijo, a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Nigeria’s southern Delta State also told ARISE News how proud his mother has been seeing him perform several movie roles on television.
