Human rights activist Reno Omokri addresses the PDP’s internal wrangling and makes it clear that Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike and presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar are not at odds.
Mr. Omokri states that the alleged cryptic comments made by Governor Wike have been misconstrued as Wike is a cerebral person by nature. Hence, even the tone of his voice might come off as cryptic.
He emphasizes, saying Governor Wike’s effort to visit and speak with presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is a sign of the harmony currently prevailing in the party. He then assures that Governor Wike is a beloved PDP member who is still devoted to the party.
Furthermore, Mr Omokri asserts that the PDP is the party that is most prepared to lead Nigeria, contrasting its unity with that of the All Progressives Congress, whom he claims is deeply divided. He continues by saying that those who want the PDP to fail will be bitterly disappointed.
