Rapper Travis Scott Arrested In Miami For Disorderly Conduct

Travis Scott has been arrested in Miami on suspicion of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. Official records indicate that he was taken into custody at 04:35 local time.

According to information posted on the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department’s website, the 33-year-old rapper, known by his real name Jacques Bermon Webster, was detained.

Local news station WSNV-7 reported that the arrest stemmed from an incident on a charter boat at Miami Beach Marina.

Travis Scott, a Grammy Award nominee and one of the biggest names in hip-hop globally, faced a tragic incident in 2021 when 10 fans died during a crowd surge at his Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas.

While he did not face criminal charges related to their deaths, he is currently involved in civil lawsuits alleging negligence by the event organisers.

Last year, he achieved his first UK number one album with Utopia, which was released shortly after a planned performance in front of Egypt’s pyramids was cancelled.

His upcoming European tour is scheduled to start in the Netherlands on June 28, with performances planned in London and at Manchester’s Co-Op Live venue on July 13.
