Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, has never hidden his desire to lead Nigeria.
In 2014 and 2018, he made two unsuccessful attempts to secure the presidential tickets of the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party respectively, but this has not dampened his presidential ambition.
This week, he announces the establishment of the Third Force under the auspices of The National Movement to wrest power from the APC.
According to Kwankwaso, The National Movement has members in every local government in the country as well as overseas, with a collective goal to “rescue Nigeria”.
Other notable politicians who have joined Kwankwaso on this quest include Buba Galadima, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi and Solomon Dalong, amongst others.
