Premier League champions Liverpool and Chelsea were both handed tough ties as the draw was made for the last-16 of the Champions League Monday morning.
The Blues’ ‘reward’ for finishing top of their group is a clash with Atletico Madrid, who, of course, knocked out Liverpool last year.
The Reds, meanwhile, drew RB Leipzig, who knocked Manchester United out at the group stage last week with a 3-0 win.
Manchester City had better news and will play Borussia Monchengladbach, though the Germans will be no pushover, having emerged from a tough group including Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Shakhtar Donetsk.
In what looks like the tie of the round, PSG and Barcelona will clash in the latest instalment of a fixture that has produced some classic games in recent seasons.
