Following revelations by the revenue mobilization allocation and fiscal commissions on Tuesday, that senators occupying legislative seats in the red chamber earned 1Million Naira as salary and allowances per month a senator representing Kano south, Kawu Sumaila on Wednesday countered the commission, saying that he receives N21 million Naira as running cost monthly. The Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation & Fiscal Commission, Shehu Muhammed had insisted during an Arise exclusive interview, that according the law, the senators earn one point -zero six million Naira monthly, As salary & allowances.
