President Tinubu Congratulates Olakulehin on His Coronation as Olubadan of Ibadan

President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Oba Owolabi Olakulehin following his coronation on Friday, as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan.

In a press statement released by his special adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed confidence that Oba Olakulehin’s ascension to the throne will bring a wealth of wisdom and leadership to the ancient city.

“President Tinubu joins the family of the new Olubadan, Ibadan citizens, the Oyo State Council of Obas, and the Oyo State Government to celebrate Oba Olakulehin on his ascension to the revered throne of his forebears. 

“The President affirms that Oba Olakulehin brings to the throne immense wisdom, experience, character, and strength, and urges the monarch to use the highly esteemed stool of Ibadan to advance the peace, security, and development of the area.”

 Tinubu also pledged his support to the new monarch and encouraged him to utilise the esteemed stool of Ibadan to foster cultural preservation and community development.

He further congratulated Ibadan indigenes on the peaceful succession process and prayed that the peace, beauty, and renown of Ibadan will abide always.
