Politicians Should be Tested For Drugs Says NDLEA + Nigerian Extradited To U.S.- Trending With Ojy Okpe

Mohammed Bawa Marwa, Chairman and Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Wednesday urged political parties to make drug integrity test part of the screening requirement for aspirants seeking to contest political offices in the 2023 elections on their platforms.

Reactions have trailed the bill seeking to prohibit the payment of ransom which passed third reading at the senate on Wednesday. The bill which is an amendment of the Terrorism Prevention Act 2013, according to lawmakers would discourage the rising spate of abductions and improve the security situation in the country.

In the meantime, The Zamfara State Government has sacked Two Emirs; the Emir of Zurmi Atiku Abubakar and the Emir of Dansadau Hussaini Umar over their alleged inviolvement in banditry activities in the state.

Finally, reactions have trailed the extradition of one Adedunmola Gbadegesin by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, to the United States over a wire fraud scam worth $148,000
