Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum Kayode Fayemi has spoken on behalf of his colleagues, in reaction to the new Petroleum Industry Act signed by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.
Fayemi who spoke exclusively to ARISE News on Thursday, commended President Muhammadu Buhari on taking the bold step in passing the bill which previous administrations dallied over.
He however expressed reservations on some aspects of the new act.
According to him, the governors are seeking an amendment.
