Peter Obi: We Won The Election, We Shall Reclaim Our Mandate

It will go down as one of the most controversial elections ever conducted in Nigeria.”

He then announced his decision to seek legal action by saying, “Let me reiterate and assure you that good people of Nigeria that we will explore all legal and peaceful options to reclaim our mandate. We won the election, and we will prove it to Nigerians.”

He conveyed his gratitude to Nigerians, especially those who supported the Labour Party dubbed “Obidients”, for their endless support, reiterating that a new Nigeria is possible, saying that they should not lose their resilience for the change they believe for in the nation.

He however, advised them to remain calm and peaceful in this period, and encouraged them to participate in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

Obi stated that alongside with Yusuf Datti, his running mate, he is working to make sure that things are set in their proper places. He also stated that he will challenge any form of illegal processes and conduct for the future of Nigeria.
