The music producer and composer, Quincy Jones, who worked with Music Legends, including, the late Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles has died at the age of 91.

Condemnations has trailed the incident over minors, said to be End Bad Governance protesters, who collapsed in court, after being charged for treasonable offenses.

The minors, who could be facing the death penalty, were reported to be 29 in number, and said to have been flying Russian flags and holding placards during the End bad governance protest, they were held in detention for Over 90days.

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has asked a federal high court in Abuja to dismiss the charges against the minors, citing sections of the constitution and the child rights act stipulating that the underaged defendants ought not to be tried.

The court had granted them bail in the sum of N10 million Naira each, while the prosecutor asked the judge to remove the names of those who collapsed from the charge.

The incident has provoked outrage among a cross section of Nigerians, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, who criticized the arraignment.

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over the weekend said that the fainting of six suspects in court before their arraignment was a deliberate act, scripted to attract negative attention.

Hanatu Musanwa, the Chairman of Thisday and Arise media group, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, all attended the Opening Night, of the 13th edition of the Africa international film Festival, curated by the founder Chioma Ude.

Prince Nduka Obaigbena presented the Herbert Wigwe Trailblazer award, honoring Nigerian creatives.

Recipients incude, President of Afrexim Bank, Benedict Oramah and the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu. There was also a special tribute to the late iconic Banker, Herbert Wigwe.
