The Fire Concert, a first of many, witnessed a massive turn up as fans, music lovers and guests assembled in droves to experience a night with the rave of the moment, featuring intimate live music delivered by the continent’s music luminary.
Opening performances from Zamorra and Jaido P, set the tone for the night with special renditions, whilst the audience chorused with loud cheers and excitement. Soundz, Evelle and Dwin the Stoic, carried the evening further with inspiring musical displays, moving the crowd with a live set.
Powering the hall with a disruptive set, DJ Tgarbs provided seamless transitions with hit songs and crowd favourites. Jimmie alongside MC Hyenna engaged the audience to light interactions, followed closely by an energetic introduction of the star of the night.
Rocking the crowd into the morning, DJ Factor intersected with a number of nostalgic selections, ushering the audience into yet another comeback from Fireboy DML; who supplied more crowd favourites off the Apollo album and a special encore performance of smash hit – Peru to close off an unforgettable night of good music.
A number of Nigeria’s favourite celebrities and influencers from Reminisce, Basketmouth, DJ Enimoney Denrele, Moet Abebe, Nicole Abebe and shockingly for the first time to ever attend a concert; OLAMIDE BADOO, were spotted in the audience, intensely getting down to good music from the man of the hour while enjoying tasty treats and the richness of Johnnie Walker.
It was an all-round great experience with Guinness and Pepsi offering complimentary refreshments, a silent disco session while early guests waited for the show to kick off.
