The Protem Secretary General, National Coalition for Peace and Unity, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has accused the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege of instigating his expulsion from the APC.
He made this known Wednesday on ARISE News, stating that Omo-Agege who announced his expulsion on social media reached out to the party at the state level to confirm his “social media and kangaroo expulsion”.
Recall that Ojougboh was expelled from the APC by a letter signed by its chairman in Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Dada Ibube on series of allegations which includes anti-party activities which party members claimed to be inimical to the party’s success at Delta state’s gubernatorial elections and the general presidential elections.
Cairo stated that regardless of his expulsion announcement, he still remains “a strong member of the APC”. He said; “The expulsion Omo-Agege is talking about is null and void. He has asked the party at the state level to confirm his social media and kangaroo expulsion. Omo-Agege cannot chase me out of the APC. I still remain a strong member of the APC.”
