Days after President Muhammadu Buhari explained why he refused to sign the Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, said the National Assembly inserted the direct primaries clause into the Bill to ensure that people would find motivation to participate in elections.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, and one-time Minister of State for Defence joined the Morning Show to share his thoughts on the subject, as well as other issues bound to shape the political landscape this year.
He also responded to questions surrounding his own personal ambitions leading into 2023.
