Normalcy has returned to Kano as Kano State Government announced the relaxation of 24-curfew from 6pm to 6am, following five days hunger protest in the state.
This announcement was made by the Kano State Commissioner of Police, Dogo Salman, at joint security meeting with Governor Abba Yusuf at the Government House on Tuesday.
Salman, noted that the decision to relax the curfew hours reflects the improved security situation and the efforts of the security agencies in restoring normalcy in the state.
The Commissioner of Police emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in the state while gradually easing restrictions to allow residents resume their daily activities.
Governor Yusuf also urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and abide by the curfew regulations to ensure continued safety and stability in the state.
