The event featured three interactive workshops focused on critical career skills which included Personal Branding and Navigating Job Search, CV Writing & Review, and a professional headshot session, which gave the students valuable insights and practical tools to ease their transition into the job market.
A panel of accomplished professionals, including Arc. Olufumilayo Gbemudu, Shehu Tijani Abdullahi, and Japheth Omojuwa, shared career advice and insights on job market success, stressing the importance of relevant certifications, continuous learning, and a growth mindset.
Co-founder of The Noella Foundation, Mrs. Layal Jade Tinubu, opened the summit, stating, “At The Noella Foundation, we are committed to preparing our youth for a bright and successful future. The Life After School Summit is our way of providing students with the tools they need to confidently transition into the workforce and pursue their career goals.”
