Nineteen Injured In Central Israel Following Projectile Launch From Lebanon

Nineteen individuals sustained injuries in the Sharon region of central Israel after the Israeli military reported the launch of three projectiles from Lebanon early on Saturday.

The national ambulance service confirmed that seven of those injured were from the town of Tira, with injuries ranging from mild to moderate, while two others experienced stress-related symptoms.

Following the projectile launches, sirens sounded across several areas of central Israel. The Israeli military stated that some projectiles had been intercepted, and added, “A fallen projectile was most likely identified in the area,” with further details under investigation.

In a related statement, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed to have launched drones at a “vital target” in northern Israel, though it remains unclear if this action is connected to the injuries reported.

The situation in Lebanon has significantly escalated in recent weeks, with intensified clashes between Israeli forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah group.
