Chairman of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on Thursday announced February 18, 2023 as the date for the country’s Presidential election.
Prof. Yakubu stated this while he delivered his goodwill message at the inauguration of the special ad-hoc committee on the review of the 1999 constitution.
He told members of the House of Representatives that Nigeria has about 855 days to the next general election.
