Nigerians Stranded In Ukraine, As FG Works On Evacuation Plan – Trending With Ojy Okpe

The minister of foreign affairs Geoffrey Onyeama announced on Thursday, that the federal government is working on arranging a special flight to evacuate Nigerians currently in Ukraine once airports reopen.

Reactions trail on social media as Super Falcons faced delay for over 3 hours and subjected to traumatic experiences at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, in Abuja, due to some unclear COVID-19 protocols in the early hours of Thursday.

On Thursday, a group of armed men attacked four banks and a police station in Edo State leaving two police officers and five civilians dead. A video now making the rounds on social media, shows the moment one of the banks exploded as civilians took to their heels.

A video showing men clad in military uniform alleged to be soldiers of the Nigerian army taking cover as the gunmen attacked the bank in edo state has gone viral.
