Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, was trending on social media, after news that he had joined the ruling All Progressives Congress began circulating online.
The former minister’s defection comes several months after he vehemently denied dumping the People’s Democratic Party.
In another development, users on social media have reacted to reports indicating that Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central senatorial district in the 8th Assembly from 2015-2019, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, has joined the People’s Democratic Party.
Meanwhile, following the air strike that killed nine people in Yobe state, The Nigerian Air Force on Thursday, says it has started an investigation into the incident.
The jet was said to be targeting members of the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) but accidentally hit a village in the state, killing nine people and Injuring several others on Wednesday.
