Nigerian Journalist Kemi Olunloyo Sheds More Light on Hushpuppi’s US Fraud Case

Popular blogger and social media commentator, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, and the Head, Judicial, Human Rights & Anti-corruption Desk of Premium Times, Ade Adesomoju, joined the Morning Show on Thursday to give the latest update on the last court appearance on Tuesday of Ramon Abass aka Hushpuppi, which they have both been following virtually.

Hushpuppi, a self-styled Instagram celebrity, is standing trial in the United States for fraud.

Prior to his arrest and extradition to the US last year, he was alleged to be the ringleader of a gang of fraudsters that facilitated computer intrusion, business email compromise fraud and money laundering from his base in Dubai.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, which had been on his trail for years, said his victims, mostly in the US, had been duped of hundreds of millions of dollars.
