The Nigerian government has approved the implementation the five point demand of #EndSARS protesters, saying the demands are genuine.
The move comes a day after the country’s President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the dissolution of the police unit Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Special Adviser to the President, Femi Adesina in a press release said the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, convened a meeting with stakeholders, agreeing to meet demands, which include halting use of force against protesters and unconditional release of arrested citizens.
