Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics has posted Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) at state level for the first half of this year. The 36 states and FCT IGR figure stood at N612.87bn (about $1.7bn) in H1 2020, a slightly lower figure compared to the N693.91bn recorded last year.
According to NBS, Lagos State has the highest Internally Generated Revenue with 204.51bn (about $535m) recorded in H1 2020, followed by Rivers State with N64.59bn (about $170m)
Meanwhile Jigawa State recorded the least IGR with about N3.005bn (about $8m).
